Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book an initial consultation?

Absolutely – and the consultation is complementary. We can meet at your space or via Zoom, Facebook Messenger, or Google Duo if you are further than 20 miles. During this time we will come to an understanding of what your goals are.  I will give you an estimate of time and the process to achieve these goals.

What are your services?

  • I can organize any space in either your home or office. From one closet to the entire home, no job is too big or too small! I will suggest ideas for containers, shelving solutions, and great organizational gadgets.
  • Packing and unpacking
  • Help you decide what to keep, donate, give away, and possibly dispose of
  • Prepare your space for new construction
  • Prepare your space for the sale of your home
  • Prepare a space for specific pest control services

Will you travel outside of Albuquerque?

Yes, I will travel within 60 miles of Albuquerque. I do travel beyond 60 miles, but for these jobs I require a minimum of hours or add a gas charge, whichever fits the service.

Can I work alongside you?

Yes, we can absolutely work side-by-side. In doing this, you will begin to understand the process of decluttering and develop lasting habits to stay organized.

Do I have to work alongside you?

After the initial consultation, we can work together or I can work on your project alone.

Can I hire you to pack as well as organize?

Absolutely – whatever it takes to get the job done.

What won’t you do?

When helping a client to pack, I leave the lifting of any heavy furniture to the movers. When I am helping you stage your home, I use sliders to move the heavy items. The boxes I pack for you are organized and stay in the room they were packed in or are put in a close/adjacent room. If you have a compromising issue, let’s talk about it and find a solution.

How do I figure out what kind of boxes and packing supplies I will need?

  • Small boxes for glassware, china, dishes, fragile items, and books
  • Medium boxes for pots, pans, and small appliances
  • Large boxes for plastics, non-breakables, and clothes
  • Wardrobe boxes (packed tightly with shoes placed in the bottom)
    • Squeeze your hung clothes tightly together and measure the width to tell you how many wardrobe boxes you’ll need.
  • Oversized boxes for art, televisions, etc.
    • Pro tip: most bike shops are more than happy to let you carry away their bike boxes to use for your oversized items
  • Additional necessary packing supplies: bubble wrap, packing tape, wrapping paper, masking tape. I will provide markers, labels, and color coding supplies.
    • Pro tip: use your linens, towels, sheets, and blankets for wrapping and your plastic bags for stuffing

Can you pick up packing supplies?

Yes, I would be happy to.
